So many activities in and around Riverchase Estates

As we approach the end of summer and early fall, activities abound in Riverchase Estates and the area surrounding us. There’s plenty to do here whether you want to get some exercise, relax, cool off in the pool, or celebrate with family and friends. Our wooded trails are perfect for morning or afternoon walks, runs, and bike rides. Love to kayak or canoe? Our 500-acre riverfront nature preserve is the perfect setting for your next voyage, picnic lunch, or enjoying scenic sunsets. The resort-style pool has it all including lap lanes for exercising and plenty of room for adults and kids to cool off and relax.

Residents enjoy the camaraderie and competition of regular pickleball and basketball games as well as the many poolside events. The community clubhouse hosts a steady offering of bunco games, book clubs, yoga classes, coffees, and dinner clubs, not to mention its expansive fitness center.

Interested in stretching your legs and seeing some of the scenic national parks nearby? Explore historic and scenic Landsford Canal State Park (located just across the river), Andrew Jackson State Park, or the Anne Springs Close Greenway. You won’t be disappointed.

For those who love to golf, there are plenty of golf courses nearby for golfers of all levels.

The Springs Company offers a number of courses a short drive from Riverchase Estates. Fort Mill Golf Club is a classic where you will reslish a Donald Ross designed front nine, and a back nine designed by George Cobb. Both are beautiful tracts, created by legends of golf design, and are walkable. Springfield Golf Club is the most modern of the Springs courses and another high-quality tract. Less formal and just plain fun are the courses at Lancaster Golf Club and Chester Golf Club. Lancaster also includes a front nine designed by Donald Ross in 1939.

Carolina Lakes Golf Club is a scenic course with five sets of tees in addition to a family tee. Other notable courses open to the public include Waterford Golf Club, Edgewater Golf Club, and Tega Cay Golf Club.

Private courses near Riverchase Estates, include The Palisades Country Club, Ballantyne Country Club, and TPC Piper Glen. Longview and The Palisades are Jack Nicklaus designs, while Rees Jones styled Ballantyne Country Club and Arnold Palmer created the TPC Piper Glen layout.
