North Point Custom Builders is Riverchase Estates’ leading builder, constructing 23 homes in the community over the past four years. Led by owner Jason Lowery, North Point is recognized for its quality of construction and design and an unrelenting commitment to customer satisfaction.

Lowery takes pride in the North Point approach to homebuilding, where all homes are truly custom and there are no surprises when it comes to pricing. “We use only quality materials, and we stand behind our pricing and our work,” shared Lowery. “We give prospective customers the names and contact information of all of our past customers.”

North Point builds a variety of home designs, including plans that their buyers bring to them and ones that North Point refines in conjunction with draftsmen and architects. New home plans include ranch-style homes, as well as story-and-a-half and two-story designs.

How long does it take to build a home at Riverchase Estates?
We advise our homebuyers to plan on 8-10 months for construction, including preliminary site preparation.

Tell us about your process for working with customers on homes they build at Riverchase Estates. We meet personally with each potential customer and figure out their specific wants and needs. We then help them select a floor plan or assist them in customizing a new home design that meets those specifications and their budget. We make each home uniquely theirs. We also offer unlimited options and finishes and are willing to try anything.

What attracted you to Riverchase Estates? Our focus always has been custom building on the homeowner’s property. Riverchase Estates gives us a great opportunity to continue doing that while building multiple homes in one community at the same time. This allows us to be more productive and efficient, while giving our customers an even higher level of service.

As far as Riverchase Estates itself, I was attracted to it because of the generous lot sizes, the beauty of the surroundings and the 500-acre nature preserve. Also, the many amenities at Riverchase Estates impressed me. All of these aspects make it a one-of-a-kind community.

What is your philosophy in home building? My philosophy is to do it right the first time, especially when it come to the structure. We want to build a forever home. With footings, foundation, framing, roof, windows, and heating and air, we do much more than is required by code. Also, building to a higher standard greatly reduces our warranty call backs and prevents future problems.

What do you see homebuyers really valuing and wanting in their homes today? Homebuyers want a quality product at a fair price. That is exactly what we offer. Our prices are comparable to the production type builders, for a truly custom-built home.

Tell us about design trends you see in custom homes.
The modern farmhouse is definitely trending now and the majority of our customers desire that look. Even within a given design style, we work to make each home unique so that they do not all look the same. As far as interior design, clean lines and light colors are definitely in.
